The Retributionists

I know what you're thinking... "What the fuck is this Del? Another story?"
Well, yes. Another story. And maybe some of you are thinking "Why is this categorized under macabre/horror?" because this other story has a triller/horror genre and I had no idea how else to categorize.

Anyways. This is another story that just sort of sprung up on me. It's about these twin brothers, Adam and Stanley. Adam is a surgeon of some sort, and being such, he brings home a nice salary. He's an attractive young fellow, (about 27) with well kept hair, slender eyes, and a rather eye catching body. He comes off as cold _{(what a surprise, most doctors do)} and standoffish, but truthfully he actually does get quite attached to his patients. Especially patients who have been abused sexually, physically, or both. Or if he hears that they'd even been murdered.

Okay, so the title is has the word retribution, and the doctor is attached to patients who have been wronged. If you still can't figure out what this story is going to be about, get the fuck off this page.

Basically this doctor is an avenger. He goes out his way to FIND rapist, murders, abusers, etc., and turns their crimes on them. Example, he has a patient named Sarah. Sarah is in with him today because she was raped and beaten. Adam listens intently, asks if she remembers the man's name and whatnot and assures/consoles her. Later, he researches that man, trying to find where he lives and everything about him, then gets dressed in a more concealing outfit (aka he's the one on the left). He basically catches the rapist, and takes him to a secret warehouse, where he rapes the rapist (with a blunt object of his choosing) and beats the living shit out of him. He makes sure his victims are never conscious when bringing them to and away from the warehouse.

Adam will never kill his victim unless they committed the crime of murder.

Stanley, the one kneeling on the right, is Adam's identical twin. He's very intelligent young man who is highly skilled at hacking and enjoys the more creative side of things, unlike his more logical thinking brother.
However, Stanley's existence is unknown because of one large problem: He has been burned due to a previous shady occupation he had. In case if some of you haven't a clue what the means, being burned is when your connections are completely cut because you probably fucked with the wrong person. When you're burned you are left with nothing. All files of you have been erased from existence. In other words, your bank account is frozen, your files are erased from everywhere from the government and everywhere else, you have no identity, nor can you try to get anywhere in life because you have nothing to show for. Still don't get it? Watch the show "Burn Notice."

Stanley is more outgoing, laid back and kind, unlike his twin who is the complete opposite. The two have no family other than themselves thus leaving them to be very close to one another. Their parents were murdered when they were decently young, though Stanley has no recollection of the incident. He just knows they were killed. Adam, on the other hand, remembers everything in vivid detail.
Since the deaths of their parents, the brothers have been together through thick and thin, with Adam always trying to raise Stanley. He sheltered him from a lot of life's harshness, and still spoils him. He works as hard as he can in order to support them both, and does his best to help Stanley cope with his emotional problems. (Stanley was born with depression, anxiety and paranoia, which is why he always chooses to hide behind the computer. Incidentally, Adam was born with some mental issues as well...mostly an urge for psychotic tendencies...kind of like Stein from Soul Eater. Adam is very good at keeping his urges in check/hidden from everyone; not even his brother is really aware of them.) Stanley knows just how much his brother does for him in life, and loves him undyingly for it. He wishes he could do more to help out, and wants to somehow lift the burn on his identity.

But until then, they live their lives...though Adam leads a double life that only he knows about.

Also, the title of this story is "Traceless" because that's the name the media assigns Adam's serial killer persona.
